While I was watching my Pine-siskins at the feeders and making my grocery list, I glanced over at the peanut feeder and saw a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. It stayed for quite awhile until the Bluejays won over the feeder. My Pine-siskins still number around 15-20; they have been here for about 3 weeks. Two of the three Fox sparrows remain; they are very leery. The Sapsucker brings my yard list up to 23 for Nov. Yesterday, on a quick drive to LaDue Reservoir we had 5 Sandhill Cranes. The visibility was poor. There were good numbers of Ruddy ducks and coots. Nine species of ducks, 1 common loon and 15 Siskins in a tree top.
