Went out to fill my feeders. It was snowing ever so lightly; then it really got serious! Everything is white and the visibility is not good. Then I happened to glance in our maple tree; some movement caught my eye. It was a Northern Flicker. This is a yard bird we never get in Nov. It brings my yard list to 25 species for Nov. I have not seen the Sapsucker again.

Sally Isacco, Chardon
