Made a quick stop at Lake White and found a good deal of waterfowl. The
best being 1 Cackling Goose viewed at close range and 1 Greater
White-fronted Goose. Both these birds were near the main state route
and beach. The Geese were mixed in with 350+ Canada's that were 50/50
Giant versus Interior. Also pesen were 35 Black Ducks, 4 Gadwall, 1
Lesser Scaup, 2 Bufflehead, and 4 Bonaparte's Gulls.

At Rocky it was really windy. No Swallows. Most waterfowl were taking
cover at the east end. Highlights include 2 Mute Swans, 75 Gadwall, 10
Am Wigeon, 4 Black Ducks, 10 Shovelers, 1 Canvasback, 1 Ring-necked
Duck, 1500+ Coots and 50+ Bonaparte's Gulls.
