    Carol and I stopped by the sanctuary this afternoon for a while.
There wasn't much activity.  The ponds are still frozen, but a few
breaks are appearing.  The only waterfowl were a few geese on the ice.
There are still a lot of tree sparrows around. We also saw 1 eagle and 2
harriers.
    Hopefully things will melt and there will be some ducks on sunday.
