I took a walk though Sheldon's Marsh around noon today. It was pretty
quiet but loaded with flocks of American Robins. Ran into a couple
mixed-species flocks of Yellow-rumped Warblers, White-throated
Sparrows, White-crowned Sparrows, Dark-eyed Juncos, Tree Sparrows,
Northern Cardinals, and Black-capped Chickadees. Other I found
species include Carolina Wren, Eastern Bluebird, Red-winged
Blackbirds, Common Grackles, Red-tailed Hawk (sitting over the
trail), Brown Creeper, White-breasted Nuthatch, Mallards, Blue Jays,
Song Sparrows, and House Finch. There were several gulls in the water
but they were too far out for positive ID.

The two highlights were a Pie-billed Grebe near the shore and a flock
of 20 Rusty Blackbirds.
