For the last 7 days at my feeder in Avon Lake, I've had a tufted titmouse with strange colorings on its face. The eyes and cheeks have faded white markings, very different from my other titmice (titmouses?). The bird has normal colorings in every other aspect and certainly seems healthy. It looks somewhat similar to the way that the color changes on a dog's face as it gets older! None of my field guides show these markings. Is this common? Has anyone else seen these around? Thanks in advance.

Spencer
