This morning Rick Asamoto called from Caesar Creek beach where he was looking at fifteen FRANKLIN'S GULLS. I rushed out but before I got there, while Rick was photographing the birds, a fellow with his young son walked right into the flock and they took off. They did not return while we were there but Rick has some good pictures to document their brief presence. Some years ago we had a large group of Franklin's stop briefly at CC beach.
