Hello Birders,

The cackler is still present at Grand Lake St Marys. Today, he was spotted
at the pond at the hotel across from the Walmart plaza. There were about
1000 ++ Canadas as well. And Mallards, too. There seems to be a movement of
Canadas through our area now.
Also, saw some crows, Kestrel, Redtails, and the other usual suspects.
Nothing spectacular to report.
BUT, our Mercer Wildlife resident bald eagle pair are building a new nest
and adding to it!! The other pair at Prairie Creek are adding to their abode
as well. Nesting season is just around the corner - or year --
