Thursday, the 11th, I had a Northern Shrike at its usual place each year at Jaite in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Walk south on the railroad tracks from Vaughn Road until you come to the two-track crossing. Have patience and look around in the tops of trees to the east in the field. It drops down out of those trees and when you find it again, 5-10 minutes later, it can be 100 yards away in another tree. It will be there for awhile.
