This is a belated report, but on Friday Nov. 28 my sister and I went to Deer Creek State Park and found a Northern Shrike at the Beach area where one was seen last winter. We entered the Beach area from Crownover Mill Road, then turned right onto Natural Resources road #4. The shrike was sitting high in a honey locust tree off to the left not too far down the road. We were there about 4:00 p.m. Between Circleville and Deer Creek we saw 5 American Kestrels on telephone wires. As we returned to Circleville, a Northern Harrier flew low across the road in front of us.
