That's an interesting report, because our yard squirrels seem pretty
oblivious to our Cooper's visitors. In fact yesterday an immature
Cooper's landed on our brush pile in the back of our yard, and a squirrel
continued to forage no more than 5 feet away. At one point the squirrel
hopped up on the pile and startled the hawk, who then flew away.
