My husband reported hearing a Great Horned Owl in the woods next to
University Farms this evening around 5:45. These owls have been
intermittent inhabitants in the area. We can go 2-3 years without
hearing/seeing one, then one moves in again. This is of course great
hunting territory with the fields and our suburban neighborhood (lots of
bunny rabbits.) We'll keep an eye out and report any actual sightings.

Good birding, Sharon
