Hello all,
Just to let you know that the Avon Lake Pomarine Jaeger (immature, dark-phase bird) was still putting on quite a show from about 10:00 AM until noon today, despite 25 mph winds from the West. There was also a probable second Jaeger spp doing battle with some gulls, but much further away.
No white-winged or other of the more rare gulls were seen here, but a first-year Glaucous and first-year Iceland Gull were observed at 72nd Street, at close range. The Burke Lakefront Snowy Owl was also near its' usual location at the airport;  in the grassy area along the airstrips, North of gate 9.

Good Birding,
 Dan Sanders
