Three of us checked Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio this
morning. After walking around for over an hour we found a small flock of
White-winged Crossbills. They were in some hemlocks on the cliffs near
Buck Creek. They only stayed for a minute before flying off. We got poor
looks at them and couldn't find them again. There are only a few
hemlocks in the cemetery and they are very scattered. There are other
conifers and they are also scattered. This might not be an easy place to
find them again.
