I spent a good portion of this afternoon enjoying 5 harriers hunting over the southern (wetland) area within Glacier Ridge Metropark in Union County located just northwest of Columbus.
Always a good place to find harriers, today was no exception despite the snow and limited visibility at times. Two harriers were male and I got some good looks by them. An image of one can be seen here:

The hunting prowess of these beautiful raptors always amaze me. Two females plucked two voles from the fields and one of the males captured a third but dropped it from midair.
