The previously reported Northern Shrike was seen at Deer Creek State Park
this morning around 10:45 am. It was along the road which crosses the
entrance road to the beach, east of that intersection. This is very close to
the location reported Friday by Dave Horn, i.e. "near the east end of the
parking lot."

The lake appeared to be almost totally frozen. There was a large flock of
gulls far out on the ice, but no ducks or geese were seen.
