JAN. 11, 2009 - Cuyahoga Valley National Park - Towpath Trail from Red Lock north to the Old Carriage Trail back to Towpath Trail and south back to Red Lock.
TIME: 10:40am-2:10pm TEMP.: 27-30-27 COND.: Mostly cloudy with on and off light snow.
FT.MI.: 5.50 OBS.: Jennifer Knapp, Douglas W. Vogus.

3. White-tailed Deer - 8 (doe)
II. BIRDS: 27 SPECIES.

2. Mallard - 9 (5m,4f)
3. Great Blue Heron - 1
4. Bald Eagle - 1 (adult along Cuyahoga River)
5. Cooper's Hawk - 1 (juv. f)
6. Red-tailed Hawk - 2
7. Mourning Dove - 13
8. Red-bellied Woodpecker - 5 (2m,1f,1?,1*)
9. Downy Woodpecker - 7 (1m,3f,1?,2*)
10. Hairy Woodpecker - 2 (f)
11. Northern Flicker - 1 (*)
12. Pileated Woodpecker - 4 (2m,1f,1?)
13. Blue Jay - 5
14. American Crow - 8
15. Black-capped Chickadee - 16
