I saw a brown creeper working the maple in our backyard yesterday. First I have seen in a while.
Our usual Carolina wren pair continue to roost in a nesting material wreath that I hung under an overhang of the house. In addition to the regular feeder assortment, I supplement with mealworms, so hope they will make it through this nasty winter.
