Yesterday I was setting here and looked out and there he was !!!! a beauty ,,, I was just gettin' my hand on the camera to hit the shutter and he flew off,,,, beautiful , hope he ocmes back . A deer got hit out front and no one took it so i drug it to the back in my field. Better the critters eat on it in the safety of my back yard then right beside the road. There has been a redtail there and now the rough legged.. years ago had a adult bald eagle come in . winter is hard and these critters take advantage of a carcass. Would hate to see one get hit by the road. That is the first rough legged hawk I have seen around here.
