The Wood Ducks weren't by the Rivers Edge office building today. 2 were just upstream from there just S of 5th Ave. To get to that area park in a lot for one of the office buildings on Lake Shore Drive (on the W side of the river) and walk down to the river where there are paths. The Eastern Phoebe that I have reported several times in this area was seen again today. The Chipping Sparrow in this area is also still present, but I haven't seen a Winter Wren or Ruby-crowned Kinglet in over a week.

There is also open water about a mile or so down the bike path from the River Edge office building near the three I-670 ramp bridges where Wood Ducks are also probably still present if anyone wants a nice winter walk.
