Yard birds have been fun to watch this month. We have our feeders filled
all the time and love to watch all the birds. We have an adult Coopers
hawk hunting in bushes near our feeders and a young red-shoulder who likes
to chase the coop out. We see these two birds daily and love to watch the
action from our kitchen window. Our yard birds this year are:
Cooper's Hawk
Red-shouldered Hawk
Mourning Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Black-capped Chickadee
White-breasted Nuthatch
American Robin
European Starling
White-throated Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
House Finch
Pine Siskin
American Goldfinch
House Sparrow
Mike Sandy
Rocky River
