Hey All,
Sounds like the Wilds trip was WILD!! So sorry we weren't able to attend!
That's always a really neat trip!!

Anyway, today, we left Auglaize/Mercer and even Ohio to visit friends in
Metamora, IN. Beginning along US 127S the roads were BAD!! And got
progressively worse.
However, once we exited the N/S roads and headed west, things improved as
did our bird sightings!

We saw WILD TURKEYS!! About 10 in a field. Rough legged Hawks, Beautiful
Snow Buntings!! AND a Lapland Longspur!! The turkeys were in Indiana! Can I
still count them for my 100 list????

As Tom Bartlett would say "Its YOUR LIST"! So, I can count the RL Hawk and
LLLSP because those were seen in Ohio, BUT I'll have to keep hoping for the
turkeys. Oh, we also saw a Turkey Vulture (in Ohio) SO THAT makes a total of
THREE to add to my list! Now I only need 57 more!!

Guess I'll have to take a drive into the central area of Ohio!!

Hey, You-all keep-on keeping on. And I'll keep searching!

Happy Birding Trails,
Jill Bowers
Auglaize County
