Sorry for late post. Some of what we saw yesterday.
GREENLAWN - around 12noon - flock of White winged Crossbills 6-10 probably
around section P or O (sorry, didn't pay that close attention to the
section), Merlin briefly on tip top of pine near 55 or 64 and Yellow
rumped warbler near feeders at the pond.
BELOW WHITTIER DAM - Canvasback amongst the Mallards and geese.
DEER CREEK - Small flock of Field Sparrows on side spurs to Beech area and
3 Black Vultures seen flying over the road to the cabins area. No Shrike
seen any where
BELOW GRIGGS DAM AT SUNSET - Black Ducks (4 or more), Common Goldeneye x5
or more and male Belted Kingfisher.
