Jason Estep just called me to let me know he found 40 to 50 white-winged
crossbills in Newark, Licking County, this morning, just east of 30th
Street. They're in hemlocks in an alley that runs between Woodlawn and
Lawnview Avenues. He said there were at least 7 or 8 males in the flock.
He watched them 11:30 to 12:30 today.

Jason found an additional three crossbills in a hemlock at 26th St. and
Main, just a few blocks from the others.
