Greetings from SpaRue..I mean LaRue :-D

Needless to say, sparrows have been the bird of the day at my feeder. and not house sparrows for once. I had a "flock" of 12 tree sparrows visit my feeder a while ago. Along with a couple of song sparrows. I have heard a carolina wren calling from time to time. Mourning doves, cardinals, juncos, chickadees, and WBNuthatches finish the list.

I finally got all of my latest pics of the Crossbills up at Oak Hill, and the RBNH, and White Throated Sparrows that were over at Green Lawn up to my bucket site they are all here: http://s153.photobucket.com/albums/s226/sjlarue/Birds/.

Has anyone tried to "attract" horned larks? I'm thinking that they would like cracked corn. I want to see if I can get some near the house so that I can get some pics of them. I know that I will probably be attracting more squirrels than larks, but I was thinking that it was worth a shot. Since stopping on the road is a little dangerous. ;-D

Anyhew

Happy Birding and God bless.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.
30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

(Matthew 10.29-31)
