JAN. 31, 2009 - CVNP Towpath Trail.
HIKE: Towpath Trail from Bruegger's Bagels on Merriman Rd. north to the sewer line underpass at Smith Rd. (too much snow on Towpath Trail to hike), then take Riverview Rd. north to Rt. 303 east into Peninsula.
TIME: 8:00am-12:30pm TEMP.: 8-25-24 COND.: Cold early, clear blue skies at 9:00am, clouding up at 10:50am, mostly sunny from 11:30am-11:45am, then clouding up again with winds from the south 5-10mph.
FT.MI.: 8.50 OBS.: Douglas W. Vogus.
