Hey All,
Have decided to try for the 100 Sp list for Jan, 2009. Have never done this
before!! Wish me luck!
So we circled Grand Lake St Marys and here is the list.

Our feeders at home:
A Goldfinch
House Finch
House Sparrow

Around GLSM
#4 Starlings ;-( Well, they count!
#5 Gulls (too far to ID but we don't have many "strangers" so I"m thinking
they are Ringbills)
#6 CAGO (you knew I'd have MANY, MANY of these!)
#7 TRUMPETER SWANS!!!
#8 Mallards
#9 GBH
#10 DWP
#11 Redtail Hawk
#12 Blue Jay
#13 Horned Lark
#14 Rock doves
#15 A Kestrel
#16 Bald Eagle (I'd BETTER get them!)
#17 Lesser Scaup
#18 Hooded Merganser
#19 Ringneck Duck
#20 Black Duck
#21 Pintails
#22 Snow Goose
#23 Coopers Hawk
#24 AMERICAN PELICAN !!! And I have Photos - Tried to post on the OOS site -
but since I'm computer challenged - they probably won't ever get there!!!
#25 Canvas Back
#26 Northern Shovelers

SOOOO, I have only 74 to go!!
Of course, since we live in the flat land of Ohio, my chances of reaching
100 are very SLIM!! But IF I get to 50 -- I'll think I'm in birding heaven!!

Good luck to all you others who live in the central BIRDED area of Ohio.

Happy New Birding Year

Jill
