The first year Black-legged Kittiwake was observed on the Hoover Reservoir
in Columbus this afternoon about 2:30PM. It remained in the water preening
and loafing in the company of Ring-billed Gulls and Bonaparte's Gulls. It
was about 150 yds. above the dam opposite the boat ramp and near the three
orange buoys. No Herring Gulls could be seen here.
