We are presently in the village of Franklin Square in northern Columbiana County. The 2 previously reported Greater White-fronted Geese are about one hundred feet (very close) north of the intersection of State Route 558 and the bridge over Little Beaver Creek in the field with Canada Geese. Also, about a half mile to the east, just north on Lisbon Road, at a lake immediately on the left, is the beautiful Blue Phase Snow Goose. Of note: to any one new to the area; go west on SR 558 to the Teegarden Covered Bridge area, this is a hemlock/sycamore valley on Little Beaver Creek. For a scenic drive continue west to the Guilford Lake area.
