This note applies only to those interested in participating in the North
American Bird Phenology Program.

Several people have reported that they were able to register on the BPP site
but, when they tried to log on to enter data, received the following error
message and were unable to continue:

"Session Expired You need to login"

This error apparently occurs *only* when using Internet Explorer.  (It may
occur only in IE version 7.)  It does *not* occur when using the Mozilla
Firefox browser.  So if you have a choice, choose Firefox.

Anyone wishing to download Firefox can find it at

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

And no, I have no financial or other interest in promoting Firefox -- which
is free anyway!
