Hey Fellow Birders,

I have been checking the Scioto River looking for those Scoters reported previously. But no luck at all. Last night I was there and a "believed to be" Horned Grebe came floating down the river. It was sleeping and never brought it's head up, but you could make out its red eye. There was another grebe seen from the bike path south of the 5th ave, but too much stuff in the way and the approaching darkness prevented me from seeing what kind of grebe.
