The deadline for Rusty Blackbird data entry using eBird's Rusty Blackbird
protocol portal selection will be February 25th. All RUBL observations made
February 7 through February 17 should be entered using the RUBL blitz
protocol portal selection.

The Rusty Blackbird blitz protocol portal is found last in list under "Step
two: Date and Effort" "Observation type"

Important:

If you already entered RUBL data in the Great Backyard Bird Count, please
enter it again in eBird or send me the details so I can enter it for you.

If you have a feeder observation or other casual observation of RUBL's you
have not entered into eBird, please reply with all the details you have so
we can enter the information for you using a back door.

Right now we have nineteen reports of rusties for Ohio. Thanks to all who
chased Rusty Blackbirds!

We'll summarize results for Ohio soon after the deadline for data entry.

Tom Bain
Ohio Coordinator, Rusty Blackbird Hotspot Blitz
