Bill Doss and I checked out Deer Creek and Melvin. The Northern Shrike
was on the road just before the beach to the right or east. Also noted
were the divers that Bob Royse mentioned recently but the dabblers were
not around.

At Melvin among the 500+ Canada's there was 1 Snow Goose and 4 GWF
Geese.
