Between E 72nd and 55th Streets, this afternoon: Thayer's, Lesser Black-backed (4), and Glaucous (7) Gulls. One of the Glaucous was a nice third-cycle bird, the first I have seen this winter. It seems the majority of the Iceland Gulls have retreated north over the past couple weeks.

Bring your ice skates, those of you (if any!) planning to visit E 72nd St this weekend...all of the walkways are solid ice...

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
