Elizabeth Heineman reported having about two dozen common redpolls around
her thistle feeders today on the west shore of South Bass Island.
A walk at the Scheeff East Point Nature Preserve produced the following:
1 red-tailed hawk
10 tree sparrows
6 golden-crowned kinglets
There was alot of open water around the point with hundreds of common
goldeneye around as well. Tundra Swans were reported there last week but
none present today.
