Saturday morning, 01/31/09, I found a Rusty Blackbird in a mixed flock
of Starlngs, Grackles and Robins with a few Red-winged Blackbirds, in
the woods along Route 52 just east of the entrance to Meldahl Dam.
Rusty Blackbird is # 105. I received a phone call from John Habig that
a Brown Thrasher was found along the bike path at Spring Valley WA, so I
headed there. I arrived at about 2:30 pm. While searching for the
Brown Thrasher, I heard Barred Owl call for # 106, At about 3:45 pm I
had had seen the Brown Thrasher, thanks to the help of a couple from
Dayton on our way back to the lower parking lot. Brown Thrasher is
#107.
