Friday, Feb. 27 - 1:30-3:00 p.m.

North Park:  (all ducks located in the far southwest pond)
    Ring-necked ducks - 8
    Redheads - 12
    Canvasbacks - 2
    Hooded mergansers - 1 pr.
    Bufflehead - 1 pr.
    Lesser scaup - 7
    Mallards - 4
    Great blue herons - 2
    Ring-billed gulls - 10
    Canada geese - 10 (Yes, only 10)

Main Park:  (all ducks located in the northwest corner of the  main pond)
    Northern pintails - 20 counted; many more  swimming in the flooded
grasses and unable to count
    Green-winged teal - 12  counted;   "        "           "          "    "
       "              "         "       "        "     "
    Great blue herons - 7
    Mallards - 200+
    Canada geese - who cares ?
