How wonderful to be awakened to the sounds of cardinals, black-capped chickadees, titmice and a
Carolina wren singing! Happily, the red-breasted nuthatch is still frequenting my feeder. I saw the
wren on the suet for the first time today. Although red-winged blackbirds are in the area, they still
haven't visited the feeder.

Todays feeder count:
red-bellied woodpecker M-1
downy woodpecker M-1 F-1
black-capped chickadee 4
tufted titmouse 1
white-breasted nuthatch 1
red-breasted nuthatch 1
Carolina wren 1
northern cardinal M-5 F-3
house finch M-2 F-2
American goldfinch 5
American tree sparrow 2
dark-eyed junco M-1 F-1
