There were 4 sandhill cranes in the corn stubble just east of Spring Valley Wildlife Area. They were near the intersection of Roxanna New Burlington and Wilson Rd.

At Cowan Lake in Clinton County there was a nice assortment of waterfowl:

Canada Goose 8
Mallard 15
Common Goldeneye 5
Hooded Merganser 8
Common Merganser 1
Red-breasted Merganser 8
Canvasback 55
Redhead 65
Lesser Scaup 20
Scaup sp 20
Ruddy Duck 6
Bufflehead 5
Ring-necked Duck 90

There were also a few Herring Gulls and over 500 Ring-billed gulls present.

I saw very little on the water at Caesar Creek, just a few Canada Geese, Common Goldeneye and a single Horned Grebe.
