Today during my chemistry lab (1pm) Dr. Jed Burtt, president of the
AOU, found a flock of 8 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS feeding in two
hemlocks just west of Elliot Hall. Needless to say, I ditched class to
take a peak at these birds! The birds were in very close range, less
than 10ft at times. Map here-

Observers included myself and:
Jed Burtt
Jack Stenger
Laura Packard
Lauren Smith

Good birding,

Sean
