Yesterday we saw both an immature and a mature Golden Eagle at The Wilds.  There were several Rough-legged Hawks.   A few Short-eared Owls were spotted just at dark.  Other interesting sightings were a vole impaled in a thorn bush, and a headless vole in a birds nest, both in the pine grove on Prouty Rd..
