I regularly check the Holmes County (Amish) RBA to see what's around.
Recently there was a plea for people to renew their subscriptions to The  Bobolink.
 I had never heard of such a publication and was determined to  add my measly
$10 for a year's subscription.  The effort to learn how to do  so demanded
persistence over a period of two weeks so here is the info:

The Bobolink is a quarterly publication published by the Holmes County
Birding Association.  It is designed much like the Cleveland Bird Calendar
published by the Kirtland Bird Club.  As stated, the rate is only $10 and  is worth
the money, I believe, simply to support a fine birding  organization.  The
publication appears to be very prompt, too - the sample  issue I received is from
Summer 2008.  To subscribe, send your $10 to
