Hi -
Yesterday, while visiting a property adjacent to Maumee State
Forest's APV area (Fulton CR2), Angie and I saw two YELLOW-RUMPED
WARBLERS - a welcome first-of-season bird for us, and a reminder that
inexorable spring will arrive sometime soon.
Also, during an evening visit to Secor Metropark (Lucas Co.) on
Friday, 6 Mar, we encountered a fly-over, solitary SANDHILL CRANE. We
also saw a flock 7 cranes on Saturday flying over US24 near the Fallen
Timbers area.
Good birding,
James Cole
Lucas Co.
