A large number of turkey vultures have descended upon a lake front
mansion
in Avon Lake this afternoon just west of the Bay Village border about
1/2 mile. There are at least 30 of them
sitting on the roof of the home and in the trees. They look ominous!
I can imagine the home owner might freak out at the sight.

They lake is fogged in even though the sun is out. Looking at gulls
resting on the mirror smooth surface of the lake one can't tell the
water from the sky so the birds appear to be suspended in the air
while at rest. The sight is really beautiful but I can imagine it
would make flying along the shore difficult. The birds can't see the
horizon.

Terry
