Hi folks,
Some nice birds this morning at Spring Valley.
Tree Swallow-1
Bufflehead-5
Ring-necked duck-numerous
Gadwall-4
Green-winged teal-5
Northern Pintail-4
Sandhill Crane-1
Also by the Martin Marietta pond they were three White-fronted Goose.
An interesting miss was swamp sparrow, they are usually numerous by the boardwalk but I didn't see or hear any.White-throated numbers are way down. The other highlight were hearing the first calls of spring peepers.
A nice spring day, Dave Collopy
