In reference to a post by Jamie Ward, this lake is a good spot to check for waterfowl. You never know 
what you might see on the water and bald eagles can be seen here as I'm pretty sure they have a nest 
nearby on Bass Lake. Yesterday ~11:00AM I saw 3 (2 M, 1F) hooded mergansers in addition to the 
redheads and ring necks observed today. Saturday there were 6M, 6F redheads and 8M, 2F ring 
necks.
