Both of these good birds persist at Cowan Lake despite the drawdown of
waterfowl to about 20% of what was there a week ago.  The WWSC was found at
the Southshore Marina and was close enough in to get some halfway decent
pictures. which is about my standard.  The LTDU was found from the point
below the Hilltop picnic shelter.  It was back in the cove looking toward
the sailing club docks.  It was with a small flock of Lesser Scaup.  I got
some pictures of that bird, too.
I will post the pictures on my blog (URL below) probably sometime tomorrow.
 I have posted an annotated, interactive map to Cowan Lake.  Just click on
the maps tab at the top of the page.
