There was a Ross's goose at the far east end of Cowan Lake today. Waterfowl were still plentiful:

N. Pintail
Green-winged Teal
Canvasback 35
Redhead 102
Ring-necked Duck 180
Greater Scaup
Lesser Scaup
C. Goldeneye
Bufflehead
Hooded Merganser
Common Merganser 7
Red-breasted Merganser 10
Ruddy Duck
Pied-billed Grebe

Most of the ducks were near or east of Austin Island. The Mergansers and Goldeneye were viewed from the Marina.
