Hello All,
Wet and nasty but as Mickey Dunakin said "Great for everything waterfowly".
We headed to Lima to check the reservoirs (from the car - what with the
RAIN)
Ferguson Res held NO waterfowl!
Metzger gave up Common and Hooded Mergansers and G-L Scaup.
Bressler kept the ducks to itself - they were too far west for any possible
ID - but there were MANY! But up close we found Golden Eyes!
Returning via OH66, at a pond near 182, we were rewarded with many
Ringnecks.
40Acre Pond showed us 3 Pb Greves.
The "hawk" nest along Glynwood Rd is MT!

Later, we headed for Grand Lake St Marys and found Ringnecks (20) and
Redheads (6) on a pond on the sw corner of Koenig Rd/OH 29.

GLSM was the BEST! These sightings were along the east shore. There were:

Mallards; CAGO, Coot, so many gulls flying over the lake, Hooded Mergs, Pb
Greges, Goldeneyes at least 100; G-L Scaup 200+; Redheads 200+; Canvas backs
100 (we haven't seen this many Cans for a few years!) Common Mergs.

Keep watching - Sping IS in the air.

Jill
