Hi All,

Bald Eagle, not a bad consolation prize!

On the way home from an unsuccessful hunt for the Snowy Owl at Burke Lakefront Airport we stopped by Edgewater Park Perkins Beach parking lot. An adult bald eagle flew past, from east to west along the lake. This was at about 3:15 p.m. today, Wednesday.

Other birds in the water by Edgewater:
Ring-bill gulls
Common Mergansers
Buffleheads

Burke had some killdeer and starlings, along with ringbill gulls.

Very windy day, my scope got blown over!
